The Light Up the Lake Festival 2024, one of the standout moments of Lakes Festival, was a vibrant celebration of the Central Coast’s stunning waterways and community spirit, attracting over 20,000 attendees across its 10-day program. With 40 incredible events ranging from family-friendly fun and live music to cultural experiences and sustainability initiatives, the festival showcased the very best of the region while generating a $6.5 million economic boost.

Our Contribution to Light Up the Lake

As the Central Coast region’s most prominent event hire company, we were thrilled to support Light Up the Lake with our premium event solutions. From providing elegant marquees to atmospheric lighting and comfortable seating, our team worked hard to ensure the event offered a seamless and unforgettable experience for families, friends, and visitors.

Sustainability at the Core

Sustainability was a major priority for the festival, and Light Up the Lake was no exception. This year, The Lakes Festival reached an exciting milestone by completing the National Strive 4 Sustainability Scorecard with Ecotourism Australia, aligning with national sustainability goals. From using compostable and recyclable materials for printing to offering eco-friendly merchandise, every detail was carefully considered to minimise environmental impact.

We’re proud to have contributed to this mission by incorporating sustainable practices into our event hire solutions, ensuring a positive impact on the community and environment.

The Equipment We Provided

For the Light Up the Lake event, we supplied:

•Tables and Chairs: 12 polished timber country tables, 100 white bistro chairs, and 20 Hampton outdoor chairs.

•Bar and Casual Seating: 60 rustic bar stools, 10 wine barrel bar tables, and bean bags in a variety of colours.

•Lighting and Theming: Outdoor festoon and fairy lighting on bamboo poles, 20 colourful nylon lanterns, 24 LED candles, festival flags, and multicoloured bunting.

•Rugs: A selection of large and small rugs, including vintage, boho, and modern styles.

•Additional Furniture: Hi-bar tables, coffee tables, pallet picnic tables, and rustic coffee tables.

•Marquees: Two 6m x 3m white hocker structures

•Custom Feature: A bespoke photo moment wall to create an engaging and interactive attendee experience.

The stunning light displays, live entertainment, and vibrant atmosphere truly captured the essence of the region, leaving a lasting impression on the thousands of attendees who joined in.
